Islam doesn’t Mean Arab
So far, most people consider that the Islamic culture comes from Arab,so that something of arab in nature is claimed to be the Islamic culture.This consideration is quite wrong.
Islam was born in Arab,the place where Prophet Muhammad was born,too. But we must know that not every tradition of arab is relevant with the Islamic concepts,because the Arab tradition has already grown a long time ago before our Prophet Muhammad propagated Islam.
Therefore,the Arab tradition must be separated from the Islamic doctrine. Yet,it does’t mean that islam separates itself from any tradition nor rejects it.It means that every tradition may be developed since it is relevant with the Islamic doctrine.
By doing so,it goes without saying the Islamic tradition is the reflection from the Islamic values according to the Holy Qur’an and the tradition of the Hloy prophet.This means that the Islamic culture may grow and the develop everywhere,without limitation of place and time.Polite attitude,for example,is the attitude formed from the Islamic doctrine,because Islam theaches Muslims to love and respect one another.When the attitude developed in the Islamic society,it might be called as the Islamic culture.
On the other hand,the muslims who are fond of slander,oppression,lie and many other bad actions do not adopt the culture which is in accordance with the Islamic culture,they are the culture of Arab.
Accordingly,the Islamic culture is the culture which is in harmony with the doctrines of Allah and His Messenger.The contradictory culture is not the Islamic Culture though it is developing in Arab.
In conclusion,the Islamic culture is not identical with the Arab culture.
